Bon Appétit is the French for 'Enjoy your meal'. It was also used in many other places such as the name of a magazine. But if you heard this or someone wrote it in an email or a letter, just know that it means enjoy your meal.
P.S. the following example is a real life quote that made me find and add this word in the dicionary:
Student:thanks for the meal today, believe it or not, today I
didnt have anything for breakfast and not much for dinner the night
before, so that muffins were quite satisfying. :)
And I never thought of a strawberry that deep in my entire life.

The name under which Wisconsin native Justin Vernon plays. He is an incredibly talented and gifted musician who fits into the indie-folk genre. Vernon's latest album, For Emma, Forever Ago, was written while Vernon spent 3 months in a remote cabin in Northwest Wisconsin. He played all of the instruments in that album to accompany his powerful voice. Overall, he is an artist that everyone should know and listen to, just because he is so talented.

Staying home all day with 3 children under the age of 4 and having your friends and family accuse you of doing nothing all day.
My husband and friends always ask me "what do you do all day?" Well, between Paige (3), Dexter (2) and Weinus (6 months) not much...it's a regular Bon Bon Diaper Party over here!
