Corona comforts

All of the things that we crave and feel that we need, augmented by our sense of isolation, during Pandemic Life.

My Corona comforts consist of a new ritual when I get home from work; I snuggle into my fake fur blankie while devouring a pint of vanilla bean ice cream smothered in melted chocolate, without watching the news, and then I climb into a hot bath prior to some torrid and delicious comfort sex with my sweetheart!

comfort weight

When you are comfortable in a relationship and do not need to try to find a partner and you are content with life and can not notice yourself stuffing your face. You think you are free to eat what ever you want because you have love and trying to look good to find a partner is out the door! You are getting sex on the regular and all that love is making you feel good and so are the carbs you are putting in your face hole.

Wow Jim really put some comfort weight on. Yeah that is why Mary left him. He stopped trying.
Carey was my friend, but then was whipped in a relationship. Have you seen him? He has put like 12 pounds on. Lol and he does not care.

Comfort Boner

An erection caused by the mere complacency with ones friend or partner, but not necessarily in any sexual way.

Jennypie noticed that her bf has an erection 80% of the time they're together, and he said it's because "I just get a comfort boner when I get comfortable (i.e. chilling on the couch, etc) with you."

Comfort Actor

A comfort actor is when an actor makes you feel safe and happy when you are upset.

When i feel sad, i think about Tom Hiddleston. He is my comfort actor and he makes me feel happy.

creature comfort

something (such as food, warmth, or special accommodations) that gives bodily comfort.
For example, a nice personal treat : a warm tea, a comfy sofa, or pleasant calm music, or elegant cozy and quaint decorated room.

He is very much attached into his creature comfort once the weekend has come.

Comfortably Numb

1. a state of severe alienation and burnout. When the pressures of life and the evils, insanity and corruption of the outside world are too much and you build a mental wall and you shut yourself out from everything and everyone. You just want to retreat by watching TV or listening to music a LOT to take you from your inner pain but your attention span is so minimized you may wind up on the couch looking up at the ceiling and constantly changing TV channels with the remote. Certain scenes or sounds may bring up painful emotions and make you cry. So you try to quench the pain by smoking, drinking or doing dope.

2. a song from the 1979 Pink Floyd classic double album "The Wall" where the alienated and overburdened rock musician Pink (no, not the real life female pop singer!) is found " comfortably numb" watching the tube and is given "a little pin prick" of horse to "get going for the show". The lyrics (written by bassist Roger Waters) describe in great detail this condition of mental/emotional illness. Dave Gilmour gives a fierce guitar workout and Nick Mason slams an electric drum as the tune fades out. Richard Wright's synthesizers are augmented by an orchestra.

1. Daniel is dog tired after working 12-hour shifts all during the week, and rotating shift schedules every week on top of that. He just sits on his couch and polishes off the Riunite and tokes while watching 13 channels of shit on the TV to choose from. In the meantime he has scenes from his life flashing back in his head. He has become comfortably numb.

2. "Comfortably Numb" is a major highlight of a Pink Floyd concert.
