I grew up in LA, and like the brightest of my friends, got out, first chance I got. By the mid-eighties, the city had become the worst of all worlds, a place which combined the congestion, crime, and pollution of urban life with the lethal inanity of suburban life. Twenty years later, Los Angeles is even more polluted and dangerous than it was back in the eighties.
Foreign tourists have always despised Los Angeles because of its hideous sprawl, suffocating smog and one's inability to get around on foot, but statistics reveal that these days, even Americans prefer such destinations as New York City, Miami, San Francisco, Las Vegas, to America's "second city," Los Angeles. What's more, last year, LA experience a net outflow of native Angelenos. Something is wrong, very wrong, with Los Angeles.
If you're part of the West Los Angeles tribe, bitchin' man! Otherwise, Los Angeles bites the big one!

Possibly the ugliest city in the U.S
I had to drive through Los Angeles on my way to Tijuana, what a shithole city.

A city in California, famous for Hollywood.
My Opinion:
I have only spent a few days in Los Angeles in my life, so I don't pretend to have an opinion on it (and you shouldn't pretend you know so much either unless you have lived there), but a lot of people hate this city. I find this sad because they assume the rest of California is also bad, and California is a wonderful state which I lived in for years.
The movie was made in Los Angeles, California.

The undisputed greatest city in the world. Not a collection of suburbs. The smog has severely depleted over the past few years and most other cities in the US can't hold a candle to it. Perfect weather everyday, beautiful skyscrapers and a very eclectic mixture of people. LA is the greatest place in the world and those that complain have either never set foot in it or are envious due to the lackluster city that they live in!
Movies are filmed here.
Amazing beaches.
Great people.
Immense culture.
A city to make you proud to be an American.

I hope god flattens this and lays it to waste.
I will pray for this 10 times a day until it happens.

Ok so where do I start? Los Angeles is the greatest place on Earth to me. This is the place that my parents chosed to come to America. They have made no regrets about it. It is diverse and feels like home. Being a Chinese American, I can honestly say that I have not lost touch with my culture because of Los Angeles. It may be sprawling and smoggy, but I still love it. I love the perfect weather and the blue skies. I love the breeze, especially in the summer. I love sitting on the beach watching the sun set over the horizon. I love the diversity of the people and the culture. Best of all, I love Mexican food. The Mexicans here are very nice and hardworking people once you get to know them. Their culture is so wonderful and fascinating. There are plenty of Hispanic/Mexican culture here in L.A. Ok fine, LA might not be what you see on TV like The Hills, Melrose Place, 90210, but what I like about it is that its not the most perfect city like what you see on television. Nevertheless, its still a wonderful city with many great things to do. Another thing I love about L.A is its diverse land and geography. We have hills, mountains, coasts, valleys, and deserts. You can go surfing on the beach one day and in the next hour, you can play in the snow up on the mountains. We have almost all the climate that is suitable for anyone. On the coast, it is very cool but the more inland you go, the hotter it gets.
I love Los Angeles!
Los Angeles is the city that is loved by many others.
