Toilet Detectives

Girls usually found in pairs frequenting bar/clubs toilets with an aim to find gossip. Will find unlikely victims, possibly in a state of intoxication to spill their inner most secrets/problems/issues to the Detectives and will then become part of a memorable night out. Occasionally Toilet Detectives will be armed with CSI style tape for comedy purposes and generally find other police-like memorabilia such as truncheons and hats.

Toilet detective 1: Wow, that's a pretty skirt.
Victim: Thanks (proceeds to look sad) my boyfriend gave it to me
Toilet detective 2: oh that was nice of him
Victim: not really, he's CHEATING on me!!! (breaks down into tears)
Toilet detectives: why don't you tell us about it.....gossip ensues.

Goose Detective

A person who comments on a situation or offers solutions without any significant prior knowledge of the situation. As a result, they usually get the wrong end of things and offer incorrect or inaccurate opinions. Can also be used to refer to incompetent, delusional, bumbling or buffoonish people. Occasionally used to describe someone who makes up rules to games in order to allow themselves to win. A goose detective is usually genuine in their delusions, however, rather than trying to troll people or screw people over.

"He lectured me at length about how his computer wasn't turning on, yet he never checked to make sure it was plugged in. He's such a goose detective."

"You have to own all the properties of the same colour before you can build any houses on them."
"Really? I didn't think you did."
"You do; it says so here in the rules."
"I'm sure you don't have to! I'm going to build a house here anyway."
"You're such a goose detective!"

2. One who acts in the absence of the detective sergeant.

3. Liaison from an investigative unit to any other unit of a law enforcement agency.

4. A Lead Detective is not "any detective" and therfore not responsible for answering phone calls addressed as such.

5. A title that may or may not provide supervisor authority, however this aspect of the title is often clouded in ambiguity and seldom easily explained.

This scene belongs to the lead detective.
