Rule 5

Rule 5 states that mmateri is always wrong. Any argument you have with him will end in him being wrong. mmateri being the village idiot on thisaintnews.com, has been proven wrong in every argument he's been in, especially when he uses his "facts"."

matteri: Canada has the biggest army in the world.

Anyone with sense: I'll just skip the 2 hours of proving you wrong and call Rule 5 early.

5 second rule

The supposed amount of time (5 seconds)you have to pick up food after it's been dropped on the ground or floor. Allegedly, the bacteria doesn't get on it before 5 seconds is up so you can still eat it if you pick it up really quickly. Sadly, it's all bullshit and not true but it makes good for justification - mainly so people don't call you gross.

*drops an ice lolly*
"FIVE SECOND RULE!"
*picks it up, brushes it off, sticks in mouth*

Well...I picked up this banana before it was on the ground for longer than 5 seconds. That's the 5 second rule.

5 second rule

The tacit requirement in ultra-clean American society that dropped food must not lay upon the ground for longer than five seconds in order to be still edible. Certain requirements about food type (i.e., non-sticky or attracting of dirt particles) generally apply.

Dude! I dropped my Dorito! Five second rule...still good.

5 second rule

A long standing rule in which any food which is dropped on the floor/ground is still "good" and edible if it was only in contact with the surface for less than 5 seconds. Incorporated mainly by clumsy children but is often used by teenagers and adults as well.

"Dude, this hotdog is awesome....damn, I dropped it on the ground. No big deal, its still good takes a big bite, 5 second rule!! mumbles with mouth full"
