troll bidding

The act of bidding on a item either at a live auction or online to the point where you get someone leave someone with a high price to pay by opting out at a certain point.

I went on ebay to do some troll bidding because the other bidders piss me off by outbidding me all the time. I'll just leave them with a high price to pay.

dey-bid

1. verb. one who is a "cute boy"

2. adj. dancing the funky chicken to attract girls in the club. and when they come closer, squeezing their boobies with both hands using a twisting technique. and then smiling like a "cute boy"

3. also known as dey-bidoff

girls: "holy shit!! that guy is soo dey-bid. i must go toward him and pray that i am fortunate enough to get squeezed!"

Bid storm

The ridiculous amount of bids that floods a popular item in an eBay auction within about the last 60-30 seconds. This usually results in you losing the auction.

"I almost had that limited edition baseball card, but someone else got in the the bid storm right before the auction ended."

adj: 1. a person who buys something on eBay, then doesn't have the money to pay for it. Hence lying on his bid.

2. a person who buys something on eBay and cancels it last minute, making it so he lied about wanting to buy it.

Seller: YES! i finally sold my useless car on the Internets!
Buyer: *cancels bid
Seller: DAMN IT! he's such a bid liar!

hit the bid

1. To quickly sell shares of a stock so as to avoid a terrible financial loss.
This is not the same as simply selling stock in a company which can be offered out in the open market at the offering price. When you hit the bid on a stock your selling it a the bid price which is lower than the offering price. Your selling it at the market to the lowest bidder. You don't care because you just want to get the fuck out of the stock before you go to the poor house.

"Remberber that piece of shit bio-tech I bought last month?"
