Converse

Sneakers made of canvas and rubber owned by Nike. They were popular decades ago and have recently become popular again. The fact that trendy people have started to wear them annoys some people, but eveyone that wears them these days is doing it for fashion ...lets face it, there are no benefits of wearing converse; they are made of canvas so you have to pull them on like socks + they don't support your feet, the soles are thin and hard so they aren't comfortable for walking in. IMO, anyone that wears converse is doing it for some sort of fashion reason because you can get decent trainers for the same price. I'm not saying Nike Airs are an alternative, but, that is an example of a comfortable sensible trainer.

How dare he wear converse!? I discovered them 2 years ago ...when I saw that guy from that band wearing them.

conversate

The word Conversate is formed through a process in etymology known as back-formation. Many literary geniuses of their time used back- formation such as but not limited to Shakespeare.

Also many common and accepted words in both English and other languages all over the world contain common words that are formed through back formation.

Many ignorant individuals could learn a thing or two by studying up on both the word conversate, and other back-formations before criticizing and making a generalization about a word and the people who choose to use it.

Past tense

We conversated about the word conversate not being a word.

Converses

Also known by their old name, Chuck Taylors, or Chucks. Scene kids are apparnalty too dumb to know this name. They were really cool shoes in the 50's to early 90s. Then Scene Kids found them. They're still cool, since the scene kids only wear the gay colored ones.

Scene Kids ruin all good fashions, like Converses, for instance.

Converse

A brand of shoes that have been around for as long as anyone could remember. Recently they have become a trend for those who wish to promote fashion or those who consider themselves "rebellious." Little do these losers know, Converse shoes are owned by NIKE and made in sweatshops. Nothing says rebellion like child labor.

Fuck Converse, fuck NIKE, and fuck all of you that wear Converse

Conversate

A word that was popular and widely used in the 90's by a generation that grew up listening to Biggie Smalls. It became common use for 'converse' because of his song, 'Big Poppa'... it was Biggie, after all.

'Big Poppa,' by The Notorious B.I.G. was extremely popular and made the word so mainstream that a generation and beyond believe it to be an actual word.

"Plans to leave, throw the keys to Little Cease (uh-huh)
Pull the truck up front, and roll up the next blunt
So we can steam on the way to the telly, go fill my belly (G)
A T-bone steak, cheese eggs and Welch's grape
Conversate for a few, 'cause in a few we gon' do
What we came to do, ain't that right, boo? (True)
Forget the telly-, we just got to the crib
And watch a movie in the jacuzzi, smoke Ls while you do me"
