The New Lunar Republic or NLR, is a resistance army lead by Princess Luna that comes from the show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic." The NLR was a fan fiction created by the older fans of MLP:FIM called Bronies. The goal of the NLR is to help Princess Luna take her older sister Princess Celestia out of power thus bringing eternal night. Princess Celestia is the leader of the solar empire. Her forces fight for eternal day. Also, the NLR has vastly outnumbers the solar empire about 5:1.
GUY#1) Are you from The New Lunar Republic or Solar Empire?
Guy#2) Praise the sun!
Guy#1) *cuts off Guy#2's head*Long live Luna! Luna Nobis Providet!

The retreat of the lunar cycle in our solar system.
Lunar new year falls on February 5th
A new year term used by someone (who doesn’t approve of China’s internal politics and its foreign policy in bribing or bullying many poor or developing natural resources-rich countries) to their Chinese friends, foes, or fiends rather than using “Chinese New Year.”
If you want to be in the good books of the Chinese communists or nationalists, use “Chinese Lunar New Year,” not the arguably disrespectful “Lunar New Year” or the highly disparaging “Korean Lunar New Year” to infuriate them.
