You

Vocative
/jou/
You is a typical Muxian slang that is used instead of dude (in spanish β€œtΓo” or β€œamigo”). This word is not common in writing but speech, specially in teens.

The time when this word was created is not clear, but lots of people think it comes from a 2014 party.
Definitely, you could use it in several situations, like when you want the salt β€œCan you hand me the salt, you?” or when you want to make a joint β€œYou, do you want to make a joint?”

Eh you faime caso
β€œHey dude, pay attention to me”

You's

All of you-Everyone in the group. (A socially correct way to address/refer to 2 or more people at the same time whether the people be male/female. And yet, also a politically correct way to address/refer to a group of people whether the people in the group be male/female/gender neutral).

I'll see you's later!(saying good-bye in a room with 2 or more people). What are you's going to be doing tomorrow?(addressing/referring to a group of people; even if only speaking to one person in the group).

If you will

1. An phrase overused by those trying to sound sophisticated and/or intelligent.

2. A phrase used frequently by Tobias Bluth from Arrested Development.

Tobias: You could say I'm, if you will, 'buy curious'

Man: I can "sprinkle the pudding" if you will.

you

Soulja boy's best friend.
(in the song crank dat by soulja boy, he often says you with a long o)

Ok, not really. But you know it still sounds cool.

In literal terms, it is a pronoun in second person. And if you don't know what that means....go to English class.

Person 1: Who's soulja boy's best friend?
Person 2: Yooooooooooooooooooooou!

OR

Person 1: You need to go to English class.
Person 2: Why?
Person 3: Because you had to look up the definition for you!
