Madame Tussaud Museum

Madame Tussaud's wax museum has now grown to become one of the major tourist attractions in London, and has expanded with branches in Amsterdam, Hong Kong (Victoria Peak), Las Vegas, Shanghai, Berlin, Washington D.C., New York City, and Hollywood. The current owner is Merlin Entertainments Group, a company owned by Blackstone Investment Group LP.In July 2008, Madame Tussauds' Berlin branch became embroiled in controversy when a 41-year old German man brushed past two guards and decapitated a wax figure depicting Adolf Hitler. This was believed to be an act of protest against showing the ruthless dictator alongside sports heroes, movie stars, and other historical figures. However, the statue has since been repaired and the perpetrator has admitted he attacked the statue to win a bet.The original model of Hitler, unveiled in Madame Tussauds London in April 1933 was frequently vandalised and a replacement in 1936 had to be carefully guarded.

Have you ever been to Madame Tussaud Museum?

The Yankee Air Museum

One of the most bad ass Air museums in Michigan. Second to K-zoo. The museum puts on one of the best air shows in America called THUNDER OVER MICHIGAN. During the 2013 sequestration this museum was the only one to have a successful air show with out the blue angels or thunderbirds. Their mission there is to keep the story of those who fought for our country alive and educate as many about the history Michigan' Willow Run Bomber Plant where the production of the B-24 Liberator helped the USA win WWII and Where "Rosie the Riveter" became famous as well as other millstones of aviation.

They have many different types of military aircraft. Two simulators where you can be the pilot and a new interactive mars station.

focusing on S.T.E.M. , summer camp and the restoration of as many awesome military aircraft as possible.

Also this museum is ran by volunteers! Only a hand full of actual paid employees.

Where you can fly in a real B-25 or B-17

Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum

A museum in Michigan which is dedicated to displaying a variety of animatronics and other coin-operated machines. It was originally owned by the late Marvin Yagoda, until he died just after New Year's of 2017, when ownership was transferred to his son, Jeremy Yagoda. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the museum was forced to shut down temporarily, until Michigan reaches Phase 5 of containment, and was faced with financial trouble due to maintenance on the machines, but thanks to a GoFundMe, they were able to remain afloat. Though Marvin died in 2017, he is attributed with the quotations "Wouldn’t the world be better off if we took nonsense more seriously?", and "Don’t use time or words carelessly; neither can be retrieved".

Furthermore, the "fabloo" band known as "Tally Hall" created an album named after Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, and Marvin himself appeared in an episode of the Tally Hall internet show

Person 1: I heard there's this one place with some sort of weird robots and stuff down on Orchard Lake Road, called Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum. Anyone wanna come with me?

Person 2: Sure, I think I heard some neat stuff about it online

Museum of Natural History

A museum that's still standing after almost 150 years.

New Yorkers wouldn't allow the wildfire to take their Museum of Natural History (or library, or art museum) from them, even if it was getting replaced by a building with more space, and New York has added lots of people since the museum was built, so why would people from other cities allow someone to take their museum and tear it down, even if they were convinced that something bigger and better would replace it, or that they needed a space that wasn't outdated and old, in favor of something new?
