The most insanely rad city in all of north america.
People are chill and definetly the nicest that you will ever meet.
Compared to all the other cities in north america escpecially in the states Toronto has hardly any crime at all.
All you have to know is what areas to avoid.
I'm sure montreal and vancouver have small amounts of crime too!
The public transit is sick bro!
You never need to own a car.
And you hardly need to be out in the cold weather because they have a huge underground tunnel system that includes stores,resturants and other bussinesses.
It is north americas best kept secret.
With a bomb ass night life.
Lets not have americans move to toronto and fuck it up please.
This place is chilll as fuck and if you don't like toronto.
Its probably cause your pissed that you don't live here.
I've moved around all over the states and north america.
Staying in many cities
but NONE of them are as awesome as toronto!

a) A large city in Canada which is really cold in the winter and really humid and sweaty in the summer.
b) Made a bid for the olympics several times, but was denied, Vancouver was successful right away.
c)3 words- The Maple Leafs.
d) lacks Mountains, ocean, old growth forest, and a team that makes the playoffs

A city that makes Vancouver and Montreal look positively dull and boring. It has the most popular hockey franchise in the world, stunning landmarks and is the cultural, economic, and sports centre of Canada. No other city in CDA has 5 pro sports franchises, nor the degree of multiculturalism and general good vibes that exist in the City. Many people who live just outside the city will say that they "are from Toronto" and those who live nowhere near are generally envious or spiteful, though never admit it. GO TORONTO!
Lets plan out travels honey, which will it be, The east coast? We can see drug addled vancouver and the most poluted pacific port north of seattle. Or we could see montreal and get mugged in front of a seedy strip club. Or maybe Toronto?

A city in Southern Ontario, Canada where it takes two days to change a light bulb... A Torontonian holds the light bulb while the earth revolves twice!
1) Hey, did you hear about Toronto? The inhabitants there actually think the earth revolves around them.
2) People in Toronto think they are 'world-class', but when you ask about that, they ramble on about a second grade geography lesson.
3) Ask a Torontonian about the geography of their city and they'll tell you they think the universe is bounded by their suburbs Scarberia, Mississludga and Bonehill!

toronto is the fourth biggest city in north america so for the guy who listed about 10 american cities that were bigger is wrong, the only US cities that are bigger than toronto are new york city, LA and chicago so do your homework before you talk smack.

toronto is the capital city of ontario and the largest city in canada. there are a lot of homeless people, so i suggest locking your doors while driving or carrying a baseball bat in your backpack. it's a beautiful city with a lot of fun and exciting things to do. it's a very cultural place as well, with so many different people and nationalities mixing in one place. the surrounding cities have been swallowed up by toronto, and now it is being called 'the greater area of toronto' or something because it's so large. contrary to so many people's opinions on here, toronto does not think it's american, nor does it act american. i suggest staying away from lake ontario, though, because the americans have polluted it beyond recognition; it produces dead animals instead of fun times, now. toronto is home to the toronto maple leafs and the toronto blue jays, both amazing sports teams who deserve less mockery. if you're going to toronto, i suggest visiting niagara-on-the-lake (because it's cute and you can sit in the grass without worrying about sitting on a syringe), st. catharines (because it's home to the pen centre, which kicks the west edminton mall's ass), and i guess niagara falls (only because then you can answer those stupid surveys with a yes when they ask you if you've been there). it's really hot in toronto during the winter, like forty degrees celcius, and in the winter it's not too cold. the area is protected by the niagara greenbelt so not many snow storms hit.
i visited my family in toronto this weekend and it was a blast!
