A logical fallacy characterized by excessive, inappropriate use of superlatives.
Patriotism is always bad.
That's not correct. That's ad aldenym!
1. Begin a process. Another way of saying "get it rolling" but in film terms.
2. Getting a task started that nobody likes doing, but that needs to be done before moving forward: like copying boilerplate code or raising funds.
This was likely first a confusion from the phrase "roll the film", and the idea of rolling the advertisements that come at the beginning of publicly screened films at most movie theaters.
"Hey dad, I know you told your boyfriend you'd be at his place by 8, but before you get drinking, mom's attorney really needs you to review and sign the divorce paperwork."
"Oh fine, roll the ads!"
Because songs with lyrics has meanings that are quite diversified in interpretation it becomes an ad when it as a message display that does a forward change where interrelationships may be present.
A message embedded in a shallow manner so all experiencing the display know the fingered ASSHOLE.
Here at my HOMOSEXUAL PLAYGROUND they changed the SONG AD DISPLAY as they had begun with THRILLER and BEAT IT which became the AI BETT , MAN IN THE NIRROR ( they covered all 34 plus men , as interrationship to BEAT IT as context change , ( win prevail) , and BAD . (MICHAEL JACKSON artist.)
So the MAN IN THE MIRROR ( as spin the 1-23 rooms including some with roommates) , which rooms are the PEDOPHILES ones truthfully as the SONG AD DISPLAY sender knows the whole mirrored truth.
A technique in which you repeatedly watch ads for rewards, usually used in mobile games.
Guy 7:I had to watch 300 ads to be able to breed an Epic Hoola in My Singing Monsters
Guy 8:damn, that's a lot of ad grinding
when one has a bias against, feeling for, or fear of something without proper logical analyzation of the subject, whether it is an object, creature, person, etc. when this happens, one may generalize the subject to how they feel. if one has a bias against something, they may consider it to be wrong or immoral without properly reviewing if it is wrong or immoral. if one has a fear of something, they may consider it to be frightening without properly reviewing if it is harmful. the words "ad subiectum" are latin for "to the subject". a form of ad subiectum that already exists is ad hominem, which translates to "to the man", which is when one has a bias against a person, considering them to be wrong in their argument because of their character or personal attributes, without properly reviewing if their argument is valid or invalid.
"they were directly afraid of the dark. not because of what was in it, but rather because what was in the dark made them directly afraid of the dark, which is ad subiectum."

When people claim something is automatically right because a large number of people are saying it. You can have a scenario with a hundred idiots and all their mates vs 1 clever person on their own. The karma system on reddit is probably the most egregious implementation of this idea tbh since people blindly assume upvotes = 100% correct in all scenarios
Person A: that game has bad reviews so it must suck. All my mates said it suck so it must be true
Person B: have you played it yourself? Sounds like Ad Populum to me
Person A: huh?
