republican crime family

a political organization of elected officials who sell their votes in a mass block, inexchange for campaign contributions "bribes" to vote in favor of those making donations to the crime family against the will an best interest of the citizens of the nation.

Huge donations are given to the republican crime family so that all its members vote for and pass a law to elliminate the standard light bulb because they only sell for 25 cents or so each. Under the new law, these are banned, only spiral flourescent type bulbs containing enough mercury to require a hazmat team to clean if broken are allowed to be sold. These sell for a few dollars each. The light bulb companies gave huge donations to the crime family to get this law passed. The spin was that is "saves energy"

south park republican

A person who subscribes to the libertarian ideology but tends to support (within the American two-party system) the republican party due mostly to personal opposition to the democratic party. So named for the Comedy Central animated cartoon that espouses this ideal within its content.

As a libertarian, I'm not too fond of the republican party, but the democratic party is much worse. I thereby think of myself as a South Park Republican.

Irish Republican Army

The Irish Republican Army is one of the most recent Nationalist groups fighting to oust the brutal and murderous 833 year occupation of Ireland by British imperialists. In 1172 the English used deceit to trick their way into getting their Army into a land of priests ans scholars. Since that time, they have outlawed the Irish language, culture, laws, music, and even the colour green upon pain of death. The IRA had, until recently, protected innocent civilians from loyalist paramilitary death squads and british agents. The Provisional IRA are currently seeking diplomatic means to bring about a power sharing government in Northern Ireland, a region of six counties still under british rule.

Famous Irish Republican Army members include Joe Cahill, Martin McGuinness, and Billy McKee.

Republican Party Reptile

From the book of the same name by P. J. O'Rourke –

"We look like Republicans, and think like conservatives, but we drive a lot faster and keep vibrators and baby oil and a video camera behind the stack of sweaters on the bedroom closet shelf."

The Platform of the Republican Party Reptiles:

β€œI think our agenda is clear. We are opposed to: government spending, Kennedy kids, seat-belt laws, busing our children anywhere other than Yale, trailer courts near our vacation homes, all tiny Third World countries that don’t have banking secrecy laws, aerobics, the UN, taxation without tax loop holes, and jewelry on men. We are in favor of: guns, drugs, fast cars, free love (if our wives don’t find out), a sound dollar, and a strong military with spiffy uniforms."
