An affirmative, a phrase which one would use to agree with anothers comment, to react in agreement with someone.

'would you like another beer?' 'Oh-aye!'

That girl is hot, would you?? 'Oh-aye'

Jesus, Mike doesn't half talk shit doesn't he? 'Oh-aye'
