A Black day is when a person of color, specifically an African-American or an American person of African heritage or any person who identifies as black takes a day off from work from the mental and emotional fatigue for being Black at work or in their place of employment. This term was created after the verdict was delivered from the trial of the former police officer convicted of the murder of George Floyd.
