When people say "That was so money", it makes the person who said it look like a "phony" who's trying too hard to use modern, new slang.

Used to describe anything characteristic of the town of Westfield, NJ. Westfield is a primarily white upper-middle class community in central NJ with a relatively high concentration of jewish families. More importantly Westfield is stereotyped as having a high concentration of preppy, tooly, and generally d-baggy people.
Saying something is Westfield infers that it is one of the following; preppy, laxtastic, tooly, rich, d-baggy, stingy, or has a pretty cool downtown.
