drive-by-spy

When you discretely drive by a past or current boyfriend/girlfriends house to see if their car is there and if they are home. Or to see what other cars are in the driveway to determine if anyone else is with them.

It's Saturday night and Joe didn't ask me to spend the evening with him. I think he may have a date with someone else! I'm gonna do a drive-by-spy and check out the scene.

Sign and Drive

Noun - College
The art of going to lecture on time solely to sign the attendance sheet, then promptly leaving and not returning.

Joe pulled off a sign and drive the other day. He wanted the attendance grade, but he also wanted to go back to his room and beat is meat. It was truly a win-win.

Drive way

A drive way is a person that can't handle their alcohol and usually ends up passing out somewhere dumb like the drive way when there Is a perfectly good couch in the living room.

A drive way is that friend that gets way to fucked up way to fast and then starts being crazy and usually gets people to join.

A drive way is that friend that usually gets injured at parties.

Yo I wanna invite Collier to the party but he's such a drive way. Yeah I don't think we need any drive way here tonight my landlord is coming in the morning.

Yo we got a drive way already. Someone go get a picture of him so we can show him when he wakes up.

Of course Sam had to go and be a drive way again. Not to much fun leaving the party to go to the hospital.

warp drive

In science fiction it's one of the ways for starships to move faster than light. The thing works by not actually moving you, but rather by contracting/deleting space in front of you and expanding/creating space behind you, while you remain in a bubble of non-deformed space. This way it seems to not violate Einstein's special relativity. First time the word was used in Star Trek back in the 1960's, and since then became popular as a go-to faster than light travel engine for sci-fi writers.
In real life, the idea of an Alcubierre drive was proposed, which is essentially a warp drive and theoretically can break the light barrier, but it requires a lot of negative-mass exotic matter, the existence of which is doubted.

Shields down, captain! Warp drive is inoperational!
I want to believe that one day NASA actually builds a working warp drive prototype.
