It is a sickness that is brought on by kissing random strangers at midnight of New Year's Eve. It exhibits many of the same symptoms of the common cold or flu.
My throat is killing me and all of my joints ache. I think I caught the New Year Flu from kissing those randoms at midnight.

The Sickness felt the next morning after sitting in a funked up Jacuzzi filled with Bacteria.
Dude, I was partying in a hot tub with some friends last night and woke up with that "sick" taste in my mouth. I think that Hot Tub was all funked up. I got the "Hot Tub Flu" for sure. It happens every time. No more Hot tubbing for me - EVER!
