At the same time, the phrase also applies to general states of confusion regarding one's identity.

When one or more bros continuously decides to ditch/ exclude/ not hang out with his fellow bros because he rather hang out with his girlfriend or when a bro makes plans with his girlfriend all the time and leaves no time for his fellow bros or when a bro decides not to hang out with his bros because he made plans with his girlfriend that conflict with a brocasion.
