Clickbait Communicator

A person who purposely makes vague statements in an attempt to make you engage with them in conversation, or in some cases to upset you.

Examples of a Clickbait communicator

EX GF: Based on everything that has transpired between us, I am now going to proceed.
EX BF: Proceed with what?
EX GF: I'm taking final action based on the circumstances.
EX BF: What does that mean? Are you OK?
EX GF: Yeah everything is great!!!!

Coworker: I just talked to the boss and got some really interesting information on the down low.

You: OK, what's up?
Coworker: Nothing much; just some things that are going to happen.
You: What are you trying to tell me?
Coworker: Nothing really, we just had a discussion. It was nothing.

Decapitated Communication

Communication not directly involving the head or, by extension, the body. This includes any form of internet chat aswell as, technically, letters. The significance of it is that the lack of emotion and tone inputs into decapitated conversations can cause serious miscommunications. A simple example is the difficulty of conveying sarcasm via writing. While not impossible, it is much more difficult than when talking to someone. Importantly, decapitated communication is not the same as long distance communication, as many luddites will have you believe. Video chatting, for instance, is not decapitated. Neither is simply talking on the phone. In both of these cases, there is direct input of the head - in the case of the phone, it is only voice but it is still sufficient to make communication much more seamless.

Emoticons were a noble attempt at overcoming the barriers of decapitated communication, despite achieving only limited success.

The limitations of decapitated communication make discussions about emotional situations, such as relationships, clumsy and often unsuccessful. It is because of decapitation that such conversations can often take a turn for the worse.

NFT community

A cult that worships useless links on the blockchain, whose participants sacrifice energy and ecological well-being of the planet instead of their own money. Presents itself as scientific and intellectual, but requires one to believe in certain things (such as that some digital image copies mean more than the others because the blockchain says so, and that everything can have value as long as it is unique, no matter how meaningless). Members are prone to thinking they are too big-brained for traditional collectibles, religion and normal hobbies, and will demean you or try to tell you to "educate yourself" or "do your research" when called out on their BS. As of now, it is also supported by several celebrities and especially billionaires, such as Elon Musk, making it the most influential celebrity cult since Scientology.

Person 1: Tim's been acting so strange lately. He keeps talking about "new ways of building community", and "creating a value in things"... Do you think he joined some religious sect?!
Person 2: *sighs* Worse. He has joined the NFT community.
Person 1: OH MY GOD!!!
