Cambodian Rabbit Turnip

The perfect equation. Often used to describe a random false sense of security or a cyborg with corny leprechaun feces in it's mouth, and/or butt hole. If you only have 3 arms and can't scratch your anus then you have problems, so they call you a Cambodian Rabbit Turnip.

A.k.a. Jesus. Let's fist some blow holes. Blow holes referring to whales or Cambodian Rabbit Turnips.

rabbits eating your head

A default state of mind, somewhat like a chosen hallucination, when things get so bad that rabbits eating your head is a beautiful alternative to oneโ€™s current reality.

After my third staff meeting of the afternoon, I started to lull myself into the โ€œrabbits eating your headโ€ scenario, just for a little relief.

"Go Down the Rabbit Hole"

An allusion to Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. To go "down the rabbit hole" is to enter a period of chaos or confusion. Can also be said when taking a hallucinogenic, as some suspect Carroll's novel was really about a drug trip.

School's starting up again, time to "Go Down the Rabbit Hole" once more.

let the dog see the rabbit

Originates from hunting dogs, commonly a greyhound not knowing what to do until it sees it's prey "the rabbit". Ie it's clueless and doesn't know what to do or where to go until it spots the rabbit then it takes off with a purpose.

If you need to do something and people are in your way you say "let the dog see the rabbit". Ie. let me see what I'm meant to be doing.

Go Down the Rabbit Hole

To follow a thread or a lead that branches off from your initial objective, then (often) doing that repeatedly to get your self lost and/or completely off topic. This is based on the fact that Rabbit Holes (or "warrens") are often interconnected dens and tunnels with no apparent pattern to them, but in which one would surely get lost if followed impulsively. (See also: lost in a maze, or trapped in a labyrinth.) (This predates Lewis Carrol, whose meandering fantasies are very much like a random stream-of-consciousness exercise.)

I started researching Electric Cars, but started to Go Down the Rabbit Hole, following stories about Nikola Tesla, which eventually lead me to a list of David Bowie's movie roles.
