This happens when the girl you like is with another guy. So, in order to make sure that guy does not get with the girl you like, you constantly text message the girl. If you get a reply, you have just successfully text blocked another guy.
In the following situation, Guy2 has successfully text blocked Guy:
Guy: Hey, lets go back to my place.
Guy2(from a different location): *Sends text message to Girl: Hey, lets hang out.*
Girl(to Guy): Ok...sure, but hold on I just got a text from Guy2. *She replies: I can't, I am with another guy.*
Guy2: *Text message 2: Is he chill?*
Girl: *Text message 2: Nope, i dont really like him too much, lets hang out later.*
However, in the following situation, Guy2 has failed to text block Guy.
Guy: Hey, lets go back to my place.
Guy2(from a different location): *Sends text message to Girl: Hey, lets hang out.*
Girl(to Guy): Ok, let go. *Gets a text message and pays no attention to it.*

1. when youve been talking to someone for a while and you run out of things to say, so your conversation ends awkwardly.
2. when someone says something so un-answerable that the conversation cant go on any longer.
both should should be avoided if possible.

person 1: thats gay
person 2: i know
person 1: yeah

2. person 1: guess what?
person 2: what?
person 1: i had dirty sex with a prostitute last night, and now i have aids.

The act of texting while asleep. Usually occurs when you're drunk or when drunk and emotional friends text you in the middle of the night. There is no recollection of the texting in the morning.
Chick: I know I was drunk, but I can't believe what you said in your text to me last night!
Dude: Get out! I didn't text you last night
Chick: Yeah, you did!
Dude: Damn....I must have been sleep texting...uhhh what did I say??

A language that has evolved through ubiquitous texting and social networking sites. Words are typically truncated, and correct capitalization is non-existent. Similar to l33t speak.

A person who text messages someone non stop for a period of time to the point it becomes annoying to others around them because there phone rings with a new text message every 30 seconds.
