this is just as racist as "white pride". i am asian and i'm proud of who i am - not because i'm asian, but because i'm good looking, funny and stylish (and very good looking). i'm sure everyone has other qualities they can be proud of too. if you have to resort to your race to be proud of who you are, that's pathetic.

Unlike "White Power" and "Black Power" I think it started out as a harmless fad back in the early and mid 90's where, all you had to have to have "azn pryde" was to be prideful of being an asian no matter what car you drove, or what music and movies to entertain yourself with, now with emergence of Anime and Chinese movies becomming Mainstreme, Asian pride is becomming a racist train of thought saying that Asians are supirior to Non-Asians. As Stokely Carmichael coined the term "Black Power" I do not know who first coined the term "azn pride" but modern "azn pryde" was probably founded upon by Jackie Chan and Zhang Ziyi

Just so you're clear, the differences between Azn and Asian.
Azn = any Asian American or person of Asian origin that eat rice and can speak their "native" language.
Asian = any Asian American or person of Asian origin that eat only American and speak English only.
More Azns are starting to turn into mere Asians. Sad, really.
