"Fuck My Life". An extraordinarily overused and improperly used term mainly posted on the internet. Instead of being used in a situation where one's life would, in a sense, be "fucked", it tends to be added to the most mundane things.
Proper:
"I just lost my job and my girlfriend left me. FML"
"I had to go put my dog down. FML"
Improper:
"I have to do a book report this month! fml!"
"Rita's closed before I got there in time. fml, guys. fml."

Acronym for "Fuck My Life," usually said by a person when something really shitty happens to them. There's even a website named after it for this exact purpose.
"How was your day?"
"I got stuck in an elevator and I suddenly had to pee really bad. I've certainly had better days. FML"

A leet speak variant. Based loosely off of several sources, most notably the 80s game show HOLLYWOOD SQUARES. Normally the tag is FTL, with this acronym meaning a situation worse than normal.
The inverse is FMW, a step up from FTW (For the win)

The commonly used phrase "FML" stands for "Fuck my Life". The word was made up in a living room while playing guitar hero with Riley, Chase, and Ghumps while all mourning over how there love lives sucked ballsack and beyond. FML may evolve into a club in some instances, all are welcome that are not currently in a relationship and/or happy with their current status of their love lives.
Commonly used in situations such as:
Riley: "Chase your emo."
Chase replies: "Ah shit...FML."
or
Ghumps: "GG im going to die alone and never fall in love again FML."
or
Riley: "OMG FML I'm so happy with my love life."
Chase: "WTF Riley stfu your happy, you can't be in FML! Get owned!"
