Crabs in a bucket can easily escape from the bucket one at a time, but instead of doing that they pull each other down whenever one rises to the top - thus insuring their collective demise.
This is analogous to the behavior of a person who diminishes or pulls down anyone else who achieves or is about to achieve success greater than their own.

The idea that since every man (and his gun) is needed for the common defense of the group, any one man's behavior, short of murder, must be tolerated, even including mild insanity and such serious crimes as rape. When the cop shot the unarmed perp his buddies closed in with their laager mentality and made a thorough investigation of the facts impossible, intentionally misplacing evidence and confusing investigators.

The act of stalking a significant other in ones mind, thinking of them 24/7.

The mentality of adapting every situation to a race, drastically negatively impacting communication skills and relationships. It is a distinct mentality analogous to the thought that ‘I need to beat them to it, before they beat me to it’.
“I need to break up with her before she breaks up with me!”
“I’m going to leave her on read before she leaves me on read”
“Why are you so desperate to leave her on read? You have some serious race mentality!”
Mental boom is when a series of unfortunate events happen and another unlucky scenario presents itself causing you to lose your shit. This may happen by talking to that ONE fucker or any other triggering thing. This causes you to lose your shit for the rest of your day and tilts the fuck out of you and you feel like committing sudoku.
