A term used in the 2008 American Presidential election for former Hillary supporters who voted for McCain/Palin tandem on November 4, based on the fact that Palin is a woman.
Hillarite: "Onooz, Hillary lost the primaries. But there's this chick from Alaska. She is against everything I stand for, but I will vote for her anyways. She is a woman after all."
Informed voter: "So you are voting with your vagina? Vagina vote is unfeminist!"

gaining support by appealing to people's love of a sob story. This could include running for public office after a recent personal or family tragedy, or turning up to an X-Factor audition in a wheelchair, hoping that doing so will gloss over any discernible lack of talent.
Dave: "Here Bob, this man on the X-Factor lost all his family in a plane crash and had is legs amputated after a tragic gardening accident."
Bob: "He may be crap, but he will win on the sympathy vote."

1. A crappy publicity stunt spearheaded by P. Diddy to call even more attention to himself.
2. A campaign to get more 18-24 year olds off their booties and down to the polling place. This campaign features all of the latest celebrities this generation worships because they can't think for themselves.
3. An attempt to recruit new Democrats.
1. Farnsworth Bently is getting more spotlight then me. Let me push this VOTE OR DIE campaign off on the MTV generation. Plus, it will be free publicity- just in time for Making The Band 3, which airs next season.
2. Since college age kids don't give a crap about this nation's politics, let's have celebrities tell them to vote.
3. Since the word Republican is synonomous w/good ole' boys, and other wealthy, racist, undersireables, most of the new voters will have to register & vote Democrat. It's not like they will take the time to see what the Green Party or the Libertarians have to offer.

1) To vote mindlessly, without thinking thru the issues
2) To vote habitually, either for a Party or for a Candidate, for no particular reason other than you've done this all your life, and so did your Father, and your Grandfather, and your Great Grandfather, and &tc.
3) To vote for a candidate just because they are black/white/female/male/hispanic/Maori/gay/straight &tc and for no other, better reason

1) I can't *believe America Zombie-voted for Obama. His policies were obvious, they all sounded good, but nobody took the time to think them thru to their obvious conclusion. Duhhhh!
2) I'm going to Zombie-vote Labour Party. I'm Loyal -- always have been. Our family have always voted Labour.
3) It's time to have a female US President. Even Palin could get in by Zombie-vote, if she'd run.
