The practice is mentioned in Five Iron Frenzy's song "Blue Mix" from the album "Electric Boogaloo." Lead singer Reese Roper disclosed the song's meaning in the November/December 2001 issue of HM (Hard Music) Magazine.

Little Mix were the first ever group to win The X-Factor UK in 2011.
The members are the amazing and very beautiful; Jesy Nelson, Leigj-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards.
Little Mix realeased their first album titled 'DNA' in 2012.
Salute - their second album was dropped in 2013 and in 2015 Get Weird topped the charts.
As of July 2016 their most viewed music video is 'Black Magic', the lead single of the album 'Get Weird'.
At the end of the day, in my eyes they are fucking godesses who have saved & changed my life in so many ways and I've been blessed to be able to see them live in concert 5 times.
Oh, and their fans are called Mixers and I'm proud to call myself one :)

A remix of a track using only a limited sample of the original's lyrics, commonly the repetition of a single word or line "dubbed" over an instrumental track.
