In the MMORPG of MapleStory, it is an acronym for "change channels". It is most commenly used when a person is leveling up on a map and another person comes in and starts kill stealing. The person that was originally there would then tell the person that just joined to "cc" so they could train on the same map, but on another channel.

*person 1 is training*
*person 2 enters and starts kill stealing*
person 1: cc plox

It means that you can stop a mob from attacking you a most of the time partly or totally immobillize the mob.
