L33+ Was used by hackers in the 80s and late 70s also used by people trying to piss off the FBI but was brought back by its original users and thier kin in 1999 when AC or asheron's call came out and then went to CS from people who played the same game

leet l33t l337 1337 - "elite" in computer terms, getting lucky at a computer game and actually doing half decent for a change, hacker wannabes. This term can also be used in a generic slang in chat rooms
