reverse nightmare

When the nightmare is actually waking up to reality.

Reverse nightmares are usually followed by the chest-crushing realization that it was all just a dream and the dreamer must readjust, yet again, to the grim reality of waking life.

The most common of these events usually deal with someone's permanent absence (whether through death or break-up).

''I was dreaming mom was still alive and everything had been a huge mix-up.''
''God, I hate those kinds of reverse nightmares... they just make it that much harder to get over the pain.''

Nightmare Flipping

The mixing of the following two drugs: Diphenhydramine (Antihistamine commonly known of as Benadryl, and when taken in high dosages can be a powerful deliriant) and MDMA, the drug commonly known as Ecstasy. Is known to create extremely interesting effects on the mind. Sometimes can be unnerving.

Don't recommend trying this unless you are interested in the experience. First try DPH (Diphenhydramine - Note, this isn't a fun drug to most) and MDMA (Ecstasy) separately if you haven't already.

Psychonaut 1: Hey man, have you tried Nightmare Flipping?
Psychonaut 2: Nah man what combo is that?
Psychonaut 1: It's a mixture of that deliriant Diphenhydramine and of course, Ecstasy.
Psychonaut 2: Woah, I never thought of trying that, sounds interesting!

Peach Nightmare

A poular women's fashion trend of the nineteen-eighties.

In it's infancy the peach nightmare often took the form of jumpsuits usually with shoulder pads and a gathered waist often worn with a belt and co-ordinating plastic earclips, but the trend for peach quickly crossing over into formalwear; with prom dresses and party frocks almost all becoming peach nightmares by 1985.

During the mid 80's few weddings took place in the western world without the bridesmaids wearing peach nightmares, unless the bride was wearing one. Peach-coloured simulated pearls were popularized around the same time.

In the last quarter of the decade even the power-dressers embraced the peach nightmare, with two-piece business suits in peach becoming a popular choice, these were usually worn with oversized gold-tone costume jewellery.

By the end of the decade the peach nightmare was over.

Two friends chatting while enjoying a couple of cherry cokes:

Friend one: Did you see Moonlighting last night?

Friend two: Yeah, Cybil Shepard was smokin' hot even in that peach nightmare she had on.

Freudian Nightmare

When a grown single man lives with and treats his mother like his girlfriend or wife. His mother in turn does the same by treating him as her spouse, and seeing anyone that he dates as a sexual rival. It is a disgusting union in which many times both parties will have thoughts of or maybe even actual sexual encounters. Gross...
