A social parasite that needs to be hunted down and be terminated with extreme prejudice, activities include but not limited to:
Drinks for the sake of drinking and tries to be "rebellious" by flipping off the camera in every photo opportunity and always has an alcoholic beverage in every picture....yet craves the acceptance of society, pretends to be broken but is just is a pussy, is a conformist at heart, could not live without validation of their worth from other people, is shallow, and is emotionally void, and could or could not have been addicted to meth.

Someone posing as a complete idiot that needs to cut or hurt themselves in order to get the attention they so desperatly need. they listen to 'emo' music and eventually end up killing themselves and others either with knives or their awful music.

Simply put, crappy punk-rock music.
I think it's funny how 'punks' bitch about how poseur a certain band is, or how band X is "SO much more punk" than band Y, when in reality these 'poseur punk bands' are simply CRAPPY punk bands.

A Poseur Punk (commonly misspelled Poser Punk) is somebody who labels themselves Punk and tries to keep up with a modern definition of Punk, and may change his/her style to fit in. Punk is supposed to be about being yourself, and not trying to be 'trendy'. People think that the way somebody dresses or the music they listen to defines them and defines punk, but punk is about individuality and being comfortable with yourself. Usually, people who label others or themselves would be considered the actual Poseurs.
*Example*
Person 1: Oh my god! That person of there wishes they were punk, but they are just Poseur Punk. They shop at Hot Topic and listen to blink182!
Person 2: Get your own ideas, you loser. I'm not trying to be anything.

People who are so desprate to fit in, that'll be a posuer for anyone or anything.
See that girl over there, she's been a poseur for everyone this year including the teacher's pet. That's a Wannabe Poseur if I ever did see one.
