A quote queen is someone whose life revolves around positive and motivational quotes they come across . Their Facebook is littered with motivational quotes on a daily basis, their WhatsApp picture is quote text and their Instagram is crammed with positive quotes much to the annoyance of everyone around them.

The repeated use of quotes out of context in order to skew or contort the meaning of a passage or speech by an author on a controversial subject.
Conservatives have a reputation for quote mining and other ways of taking things out of context.

Laundered quotes can originate from satire that is not recognized as satire, but more frequently from an Internet writer who is paraphrasing or outright fabricating.
No matter how many places you see it mentioned, the starlet never actually Tweeted that "Scientology is an abusive cult." A comedian said this while doing an impression of her, and then quote laundering took over.
