Self-reflection Selfie

A self-imposed image taken with a selfie camera usually expressing a picture of person’s face after a successful moment of self-accomplishment performing a task that nobody but the picture taker cares about. This selfie can also occur in the moments of a person’s boredom where it is accompanied by a philosophical reference or caption expressing a deep lesson learned, an important self-accomplishment or very insightful self-awareness.

Such photos are meant to socially establish credibility of profound wisdom to the person posting the image and caption about themselves, but often the reference is shallow at best, and serves the purpose of attention seeking individuals who have low self-esteem, little credibility, and little wisdom, if any on the philosophical message emphasized.

Lastly, images are usually of the persons face looking glaringly empty into space or directly at the camera, or after a period of physical exertion to emphasize the struggle that led to such credibility.

Oh look! Lucy has posted her 15th self-reflection selfie this week about how she burned out from her job and is now an executive coach on the subject. Man, if I’m struggling at work, can’t wait to talk to her.

Jeez Gary! He posted another self-reflection selfie about how his commitment to his work is a direct reflection of his ability to run 5km with his Nike sports watch. Wish I can be more like Gary, what a guy!

Reflective Math

When artists, creatives, or math educators leverage on objects like mirror, glass, and water to bring out the concept and magic of mirror-image or reflection symmetry—when an object or image is indistinguishable from its transformed image.

An example of reflective math is the equation 3 + 8 = 11, whose image and reflection are the same.

rona reflection syndrome

Having a personal life reflection and recollecting the world and social life before the 2020 SARS 2/ Coronavirus pandemic: inducing deep feeling/emotions, nostalgia, sadness, happiness, grief, regret, etc. inspiring one to make changes for the better or causing one slip into depression.

While looking at photos and videos on my phone from summer 2019, I became overwhelmed with emotion because I miss those times; I may be suffering from RRS, Rona Reflection Syndrome.

Positive Reflections

Positive Reflections is the reflection of positivity that you can bring from any situation. Many things in life are trivial and without the knowledge that there is positivity in everything you could look right past it. With a positive thinking process template at hand you can see the signs of distraction, negativity, and or confusion to make the positive decision that makes the most sense in your situation. Raising Grace Research and Self Health Maryland are developing resources to build better habits in everyday living. Let us be apart of your encouragement towards better living.

Through Positive Reflections I found the best way to get things done right and not rushed.
The day had gone a rye everything was up in the air and all I could do was put Positive Reflections towards it to get through the day.

Reflect

Reflection is the process of displacing one's feelings onto a different person, animal, or object.
Reflection is a defense mechanism that people use by unconsciously externalizing difficult emotions and putting them onto others. When someone reflects their insecurities onto another, they are “taking out” their emotional issues on someone else.

"You're reflecting how you feel onto me as if I'm the one who feels that way. "
