A "Snitch" is a guy/girl who gets arrested by the cops, and then decides to give up info that can land another person/friend in lock-up. And as a result, the snitch is let go- - home free.
Usually, that motherfucker gets his/her ass beat up and put into the hospital, or stabbed up or shot.
A drug dealer gets caught by the cops, and the cops offer him a deal to be let off home free, so the motherfucker takes the deal and tells the cops about another dealer thats throwin dope around town, and then gets that other dealer arrested. A week later, Snitch gets jumped and put in the hospital.
Snitch rats on somebody again & ends up dead.

When somebody runs to the police or somebody of authority to turn in somebody over something minor and can be fixed easily. Turning in somebody for something SERIOUS does NOT count as snitching.
Snitching: "Officer, somebody ran a red light. The license plate number was so-and-so, driving a pickup truck".
Not snitching: "Officer, I witnessed a rape. The person had a leather jacket and blue jeans. The victim was wearing a blue blouse with a pink skirt.

The lowest person on the earth a snitch is some one who tells on another person to the police,bosses,or teachers. Snitching dosent always happen in the criminal world it can also happen to the average person in the workplace. Most people snitch because they are either afraid of doing jail time or they fear of being killed, while other people snitch just to ruin someone's life this type of snitch is the worst and deserves a slow painful death.
John and Henry both work together in a warehouse one day the two get into a argument which ends with henry yelling fuck you, John cries in his mind and snitches to the boss that henry cursed him out henry gets three days suspention without pay.
Lenny- did you here that John snitched on henry for cursing him out
