Vulture Culture

Part of the practice of taxidermy. The act of Vulture Culture is to search of the remains of an animal and take it with the intention of using the remains for taxidermy (skinning, using the bones/skeleton; etc).

"Dude how's the Vulture Culture going?"
"Found a lot of dead birds but I really want to find a raccoon for my skull collection."

Sexual Vulture

Somebody who makes a move, while the person they are making a move on is clearly weak due to alcohol, distress or sheer unattractiveness, resulting in them being easy. They are therefore preying on the 'scraps' in a similar way to how a vulture hunts

Rob: Look at that girl over there, she's a proper munter!

Matt: Looks like David is making a move on her

Rob: He's such a sexual vulture

breakroom vulture

Employee of company who takes full opportunity of leftover food from breakfast or lunch meetings left in breakrooms.

Vultures will alert other fellow vultures of food left in breakrooms, and the dedicated ones will get there quick, so move it!

More people have joined the ranks of the breakroom vultures due to the lagging economy although leftover food has become less common due to cutbacks.

Bob in email to coworkers: There's leftover food in the breakroom on the 5th floor.

Shortly thereafter the breakroom vultures receiving the email quickly get up to go the breakroom and see whats available. Others not receiving the message end up prairie dogging, trying to figure out whats going on. Smart breakroom vultures not getting the message can sense or smell whats going on and will get in on the action.
