This is the worst style of "music" because it sounds suckish and it takes absolutely no talent to perform live.

Rap for the club. Always confused when people call it hiphop (when hip hop is a culture, and hip hop music is rap). Commercial rap is also used as the single or main promotion song for an artist's album.

The second or third worst sub-genre of hip hop (it's at least better than crunk and snap) and one of the worst forms of music.
Despite the belief that NWA created gangsta rap Ice-T 1987 album 'Rhyme Pays' as well as Schoolly D's self-titled album are what started the genre.
While there have been some decent albums that have been labeled gangsta rap most gangsta rap is complete crap.
Contary to what many people (usually the media and racist black's who don't like gangsta rap and want to blame it's popularity on white people) it's more popular with black people than white people.
Gangsta rap lyrics usually feature criminal themes and are often sexist and racist.
90's rappers like 2pac and Ice Cube had a style which mixed the popular gangsta-rap of the time with political hip hop. 2pac's lyrics were also much more personal than anything your typical gangsta-rappers ever wrote.
Normal person - Gangsta Rap is horrible. I don't see how anyone could enjoy it

noun: hip hop/ pop (hip pop) music created by prepubescent artists. This genre is unique in that the subjects of songs are distinctively juvenile and annoyingly catchy. The listener cannot help but sing along with elementry lyrics about middle school luv. Listening to such songs often lead to feelings of self loathing and pedophilia.
Samantha's favorite musicians are JoJo, Justin Bieber, Sean Kingston, Lil Mama, Lil Romeo, and all other artists with the name lil. Because she prefers prepubescent hip hop, her taste can be described as statutory rap.

A terrible form of music that tells children and suburban white kids that there only cool if you have untold amounts of money, and there better then you because they sleep with women whose ass is the size of a fully loaded minivan
don't get me wrong I like rappers like 2pac, icp, afroman, and run dmc.
