two party political system

A politician's idea of a joke. No matter how badly they mess things up they're always in power under this system.
Tis' a duopoly of politics. Total bullshit which disguises itself as democracy. We're all screwed!!!!!!!!

Guy 1: Election day again... why don't I feel like voting?

Guy 2: Cos we live in a two party political system - no matter what we do it stays the same.

Guy 1: Fuck that... I'm gonna stay home and puke. This country's gay.

Politically open sexual preference

aka. P.O.S.P.; When an individual is sexually attracted to people regardless of what their political identity is

Brianna identifies as being a supporter of the Green Rainbow Party, but she is sexually attracted to other people, even if they have a different political identity from her. She has a politically open sexual preference.

Political Party Blame Game

When people (most famously pundits like Hannity, O'Reilly, Olbermann, ect.) blame all of our problems and nitpick the problems of their opposing party. While not touching on subjects that portray THEIR party negatively.

Or more simply, somebody of one party blames all of their countries problems on their opposing party. While ignoring anything negative their party has done to the country.

Olbermann wouldn't stop talking about how Bush was ruining America, but doesn't say how Obama is ruining America.

While Hannity didn't say how Bush was ruining America, but tells how Obama is ruining America.

These are prime examples of the political party blame game. Blame everything

generationally consistent political identity

Aka. G.C.P.I. or just generational consistency, When the political beliefs of an individual match their parents, guardians, and or grandparent’s political beliefs. The more generations from the same family who have the same beliefs, the stronger the generational consistency is. If the trend goes on for too long it can become source of privilege for the younger generations may not even take the time to do research in order to formulate their own views on issues and vote responsibly.

Erin: So, who are you voting for tomorrow?

John: I’ll probably vote for whoever the democrat is. I almost always vote democrat; just like my father and my grandparents on my father’s side. I have a generationally consistent political identity.
Erin: You don’t pay attention to who is running in elections and what their stances are do you?
John: No. Not really.

rheumatoid political adthritis

The painful, debilitating condition that occurs during an election year. The seemingly neverending mud-slinging by politicians that choke up the TV and Radio airwaves.

"A vote for Sam Smith, is a vote for the Taliban."
Dude, I'm suffering from Rheumatoid Political Adthritis.

political identity privilege

The idea that an individual being a supporter of the Republicans or Democrats can give that individual more power and influence than an individual who is a supporter of a nonmainstream political party or an individual who practices political neutrality, because of the fact that most people will be more likely to respect, listen to, and value the opinion of an individual is a supporter of the Republicans or Democrats than an individual who is a supporter of a nonmainstream political party or an individual who practices political neutrality.

Kenny: I heard that Britany had a disagreement with Dylan because some views of his views about climate change didn’t entirely match the views held by her and certain Democratic leaders. They both believe that climate change is occurring, but, because his views didn’t match her views, she refused to even hear him out as to why he held those views and kept shooting down his ideas as to why climate change was occurring.
Isabell: I know that Britany is very strong supporter of the Democratic party and that Dylan is a supporter of the Green Rainbow Party. Britany doesn’t respect of people’s views on political issues unless the individual is a Democrat. A lot of people listen to what she has to say on various political issues, but they seldom listen to what Dylan has to say.
Kenny: Agreed. It sounds like Britany and some other people’s political identity privilege is showing.
