Ghost of Shame

When someone ghosts out of shame, usually temporary.
This happens after doing something they swore they wouldn't do, or that they feel guilty about having done.
Can be used among good friends, because friends don't usually permanently ghost, but they do ghost temporarily out of shame.

"Lily went to see her ex yesterday to drop of things and never texted me back..."
"She probably did something wrong and now she's doing the Ghost of Shame."

Scroll of Shame

(Verb). Waking up on a Sunday and going from app to app to see the texts, Snapchats, etc you sent while drunk. If your poor thumb could talk it would ask to be amputated after the level 3 trauma it just endured.

This morning the scroll of shame was so rough, i ordered a flip phone for next weekend and am only putting 911 and dominos in the contacts.

Shame Shuffle

The rapid cover-up that ensues when a couple engaging in sexual acts is about to be happened upon by an outsider. The cover-up is erratic and poorly executed by the shamed couple, resulting in an awkward shuffle.

I went to call my brother and his girlfriend for dinner and I could hear them doing the shame shuffle as I knocked on the door.

to slut shame

to literally call a girl (who is not a prostitute by profession) a slut and tell her she should be ashamed of herself for the way she dresses simply because you do not like the way she is dressed

Craigslist post in Montreal, Canada for April 4, 2013:

" (...) you spotted me walking quickly to my class and decided you needed to stop me so you can give me your opinion about my clothing; You proceeded to slut shame me.What were you thinking? (...)"

Gamer Shaming

When a gamer is being shamed for living his gamer Lifestyle.

That's called Gamer shaming

Girl: "You were playing this stupid game for the last 8 hours, you are fucking addicted aren't you? This is getting ridiculous."
Boy:*feels the gamer shaming vibes even though he actually is addicted* "Sit the fuck back down woman." *starts beating her*

sheep shaming

Sheep shaming is the past time of radical leftist groups which involves shaming people because they are voicing their opinions or standing up for their rights. The sheep who are the target of sheep shaming receives threats, ridicule, and also sometimes hate mail until they become paranoid and sheepish. This practice was banned ones however it was reinstated when people started to become more aggressive and brave.

Sheep shaming should be illegal in the United States because it is harmful to people's mentality.
