Hard Greens

Similar to vegetables greens, however hard greens are those that are more pronounced and bitter. Romain lettuce is a green, where as spinach is a hard green. Beet greens would also be considered hard greens.

Susan: "We're having salad tonight."
Logan: "Does it have hard greens in it?"
Susan: "Yes. It has spinach instead of Romain lettuce."

Green Out

Basically;

You’re so high on weed (hence, “green” out), that you are totally useless. Common effects of greening out would be horrible munchies, motor functions are almost gone, you can’t speak coherently, memory loss from the night of, nausea, vomiting, etc.

In other terms, it’s like getting blacked out drunk, but instead of alcohol, it’s weed.

Jason: Dude, last night I got so zooted I couldn’t even walk.

Cam: Aw bro, did you green out?

Jason: maybe, can’t remember much man.

Green Hope

A place where you can graduate with a 4.0 GPA and still not be in the top 20% of the class. A place that defies the laws of high school. The more drugs you do, people you sleep with, and the the less time you spend studying, the better GPA you get! Everyone should go to Green Hope! But beware, Green Hope is home to the most vicious gossip. If you're not in the right crowd to begin with, you never will be (that factor is usually determined at the first PTA meeting when the richest snobbiest parents latch arms leading their children to one another and deciding who their children will exclude) and if by some chance you get into the "in" crowd, you get the most hurt because you don't realize how much people are talking about you behind your back.

Green Hope High School - as long as you're in the right crowd, you're fine, or so you think!

green dress

A phrase popularized by the outrageous mid-1970s group of party-crashing drag queens in and around the Dallas-Fort Worth area referencing marijuana. It could be a noun, adjective and verb, depending on usage.

While speaking over the phone, one might ask, "Are you wearing your green dress tonight?" That meant, "Are you bringing any weed tonight?"

Again, over the phone, "Honey, I'm sipping on a gimlet and wearing my favorite green dress!" That meant the person speaking was getting high while talking.

To invite someone over to get high, one would simply exclaim, "You've gotta come see my new green dress! It's so much prettier than the one I bought last month!"

A variation as a verb could be, "I'm dressing in green tonight!" That meant, "I can't wait to get stoned tonight!"

An adjective case could be, "She was wearing the greenest dress I've ever seen!" That meant, "I've never seen her so stoned!"
