An app that is made by a chinese company, specifically ByteDance, which is related to the communist government.
They take your location, interests and other stuff without permission, in return of short videos (in the for you tab) that is selected by an algorithm which shows videos that is okie dokie to china.
In short, uninstall the app. It knows everything about you.
They downloaded TikTok for entertainment, but they didn't know they know their personal information.
Tiktok is a platform a lot of teens and other people use. Charli D'Amileo, and Noah Beck are examples of over-night celebrities.

A cringy app that has blown up this past year, filled with cosplayers (furries, weeaboos, etc) 12 year old girls , middle aged people, the amazing memers and the 20 year olds. Some 12 year olds and 20 year olds try really hard to get attention, doing all sorts of cringy things, attempting to act sexy, repeating the same thing that got them popular over and over again, etc. Some of the famous middle aged tiktokers dont realise they are only getting popular because of people making fun of them for their cringe.
Suddenly from going from the cringe compilation era, it has entered a whole new meme phase and has become the new popular thing. Somehow most people have forgotten about its past, the og musically, and ofc the cringe compilation era. But ngl, the tiktok memers are pretty funny, cant forget about them.

an app used by gen z that has recently gone very viral and everyone downloaded as a joke but now is obsessed with. this app also comes with hot tiktok boys, crazy tiktok dances and a lifetime of songs being stuck in your head. its become so popular you can now actually get famous off of it. we can only hope for a good future now.
