Poseur Punk

Simply put, crappy punk-rock music.

I think it's funny how 'punks' bitch about how poseur a certain band is, or how band X is "SO much more punk" than band Y, when in reality these 'poseur punk bands' are simply CRAPPY punk bands.

punk music

Punk is some of the greatest music of all time in my opinion. Real punk consists of bands like Minor Threat, Civil Disobedience, Leftover Crack, Bad Brains, A Global Threat, and so much more. (Notice I didn't put the typical Ramones or Sex Pistols because 1. they're not even that great 2. they ain't got shit on most hardcore punk bands out there and 3. they're kind of overrated.) Anyone that wants to say bands like MXPX or Lagwagon (I usually call them pussy punk, but even calling them any kind of punk at all is just insulting to the real deals) are punk deserves to be shot in the back of the fucking head, seriously. Notice that bands like that have a simple band name probably with no meaning behind it and lyrics that appeal to kids 12 and under...douche bag pussies. Bands like Bad Religion and A Global Threat a great meaning behind the title as well as the lyrics that usually have to do with the fucked up society we live in today. People may tell me that punk is dead but you know what? Doesn't mean I still can't like it. AND a lot of old school punk bands are still making great music today, so FUCK YOU! =

Punk's not dead, it just smells that way.

pantene punk

"Punk" who cares more about spiking their hair up then about what the actual punk movement was all about.

Pantene punks spend hours in front of the mirror getting their hair juuuuust right.

conservative punk

An oxymoron used by poseurs who claim to be the real thing. There are several myths they like to spew. The first Anarcho-communism being an oxymoron, conservatards obviously don't know what communism or anarchism is. The second everyone who's not one is a fat mike worshiping hot topic loser, just not true. Real punks hate them too. However the biggest lie they tell is that they're the real essence of punk, whereas their god is Michale Graves is an ex marine(authoritarian) who never heard of the misfits prior to joining and punk has always been the antithesis of conservation and anti-authoritarianism. That being said, conservative punk is best defined as sheep who want to vent about the fact that a liberal made them feel stupid once. They are a blight on the scene they are actually worse than NOFX,anti-flag etc as they are simply poseurs and an oxymoron.

Conservative punk: we're the real essence of punk
Liberal-punk: no we are
Anarcho punk: you poseurs make us all look bad
Crust punk: yeah fuck off poseurs
Horror punk: no one cares!
Street punk:....*punches both*
Anarcho-punk: at least they aren't juggalos

nigger punked

To attempt to open a nigger locked door without noticing the deadbolt chain, only to have the door snap out of your hand, as the deadbolt holds it back.

Hahah I just got nigger punked trying to leave the room.

conservative punk

Not at all an oxymoron. Today punk kids are led to believe that communism is the way to be although they preach anarchy. Thus calling themselves, Anarcho-communists. However this makes no sense because of the fact that these two ideals lie on the opposite sides of the spectrum. Truly educated punks who adopt conservative/libertarian ideals know that they highly oppose the government are the true anarchists that try to push for smaller government.

Guy-who-thinks-he-is-punk: FUCK THE GOVERNMENT!!! DIVIDE THE NATION'S WEALTH!!!
Conservative Punk: First of all, you need the government to divide the nation's wealth and second of all it's called 'communism' and it didn't work you fucking retard.

punk rock

The most powerful and energetic music ever made. THe music that doesnt hold back and refuses to be censored. the musics who has something to say about everything, and most importantly the music that will never die as long as punk bands are still making good music (The Virus, THe Unseen, lots of local bands, and etc.), the punk music that was made a long time ago (Minor Threat, Social Distorion, Bad Brains, Conflict, The Exploited, Black Flag, The Subhumans, The Germs, and i could go on forever) lives on inside us and influences us still, and that there are still true punks that support the scene. In the words of The Exploited, "Punk's Not Dead!"

Punk1: Good Charlotte and Simple plan and all those other pop punks band killed punk.
Punk2: Punk's not dead! Those bands do suck ass, but they didnt kill punk. punk'll never die.
Punk1:tru dat boi
