A hellish week when its +100 degrees every day and flat nasty band chicks wear little to no clothing causing nausea vomiting and often death after prolonged suffering.

A band that usually plays heavy metal,hard rock,porn music,satanic rock ect. and that at there concert they have some of there fans come up on stage so they can have sex with them right then and there. And also after the concert they have some of there fans come backstage so they can have sex with them.
They also make appointments with there fans to meet them and have sex with them.

A often short person who conducts or directs a band. Has no life, assigning students scales sheets for their grades, and telling lame jokes. Often can be desperate at times. Can be cool at times, but most of the time they can be @$$holes.
Cool Band Director:

Lame Band Director:
This Band Director can't conduct for crap!

possibly the BEST thing ever invented. it's a way to connect with people and make amazing friends that will last forever. it's hard work, but it really pays off. marching band is a second family.
A: Hey, you wanna hang out tonight?
B: Only if by "hanging out" you mean going to marching band practice.

The term Indie nowadays describes a current trend since around 2003 to consider "indie" a certain musical style rather than a stance towards commercialism.
This style is in most cases a mixture of wave, early punkrock, singer/songwriter music, electronica and above all whiney singing.
Ironically most bands among those "indie" bands are not part of an independent music scene, but as part of the musical mainstream rather dependent.
