Being aware of social injustices that are happening in society. Most often nowadays used as an insult by reactionary youtubers, extremist on the right side of the political agenda in america and people who fell for their fear mongering or grifting. It seems to have spread to a lot of countries outside of america due to internet including mine. Most people who fell for it are just naive, have a religious believe, or are misinformed because everyone fears of something they do not know as much as they don't want to admit. Whether that fear is for themselves or they fear that it's gonna affect their loved ones. So they ended up being and saying homophobic, racist, and every problematic things in existence without realising that they are what the other side of the political agenda are calling them.
It's scary to face these social injustices and it can be depressing to know all of these injustices that is happening. I get that because i was once like that. It's so much easier to ignore these injustices. However, it is hurting people and you should know that. If you chose to ignore it, i understand. However, if you are now aware and chose to not participate do not participate at all. If you don't, you are hurting people. Some people might have commited suicide because of the hurtful things you said. That is also a guilt that i have beared for almost a year now.
A : "The new disney movies and shows are woke garbage. They put a lesbian couple in a cartoon. They are brainwashing kids. Not to mention they made ariel black. They're pushing this down our throats"
B : "Have you ever thought that maybe you just don't want to see gay couples on tv because you don't see it as normal or disgusted by it ? How do you know being gay is an agenda? Why shouldn't they be represented on these shows when they aren't hurting anyone by just being them ? Why is it not okay to change a character's race into black in movies where the backstory or plot doesn't revolve around the characters race but there has been a lot of cases in movies where people swapped their characters race to white ?"
A : "Yeah but these companies only care about money, that's why they are making these representations. Why does representation matters so much ?"
B : "Everyone who are part of that represented group already knows that these companies are only going for the money but have you ever talked to the creators of the shows that are hired by the company,interract with them,see them interact with the fans, at least through social media ? maybe listen to their thought process of making these shows ? A lot of them are genuine showed by their words and actions. There are companies who just make representation for profit but did you know that there is a long history of these groups being stereotyped and censored up to the point of them having a negative stigma in society ?"
To be hateful racist ,intolerant and sexist without repercussion as well as pushing toxic degenerate behaviour and pushing fringe minority immoral behaviour onto the masses. While pretending to be virtuous and a being of morality which is a false and leads to more hatred and division
To be woke was meant to be virtuous but failed to do so and instead breeded intolerance and hatred

A woke person is a person who believes Whites (men, cisgendered people & heterosexuals) need to give up their spaces, rights & self-interest, that all other groups are allowed to pursue & retain, in order to fulfil a moral imperative to 'equalise' society (specifically Western & White societies), & make up for real & imagined past & contemporary 'privilege' & 'wrongs' people of their same race, gender, & sexual orientation are presumed to have inflicted on others, even if in doing so, the results may be inequitable, irrational, obtuse to the stated aim, unfair, deleterious, genocidal, unbalanced or otherwise damaging to any party, society or the whole.
A woke person uses an artificial socially constructed leftist totem pole of worthy victims, and evil oppressors, to determine right & wrong in a situation, & differentiate 'moral' & 'immoral' policies, without any over-riding sense of balance, proportionality, impartiality or universality.
The latest Marvel movie is an exercise in woke morality. Storylines, genders and races have been chosen, not with respect to storytelling, quality or need, but to fit a presentation and approach that conforms to the dictates of critical race and intersectional theory.

The latest Conservative buzzword for people who don't toe the Conservative line. First they called anyone who disagreed with them a communist. Then they called us socialists. Then it was virtue signalling. Then it was cancel culture. Now they've gone for 'woke'. It all means the same thing, which is "while I pretend to uphold freedom of speech I am going to apply this convenient buzz word to silence yours because it threatens my privilege".
Conservative: *Attacks a minority*
Progressive: "Stop being an arsehoke toward these people"
Conservative: "Woke bla bla bla... Something about virtue signalling and snowflake"

If a white person participates in a different culture, that's called cultural appropriation.
If a white person doesn't participate in a different culture, that's called non-inclusive.
If a white person moves into a neighborhood populated by minorities, that's called gentrification.
If a white person moves out of a neighborhood populated by minorities, it's called white flight.
If a white person pays attention to skin color, that's called racism.
If a white person doesn't pay attention to skin color, that's called ignoring racism.
Basically "woke" means understanding white people can't do anything good simply because they were born with white skin.
