Rebecca Black

The bitch who made the most annoying song in the history of the world. Justin Beiber is approved by the world more than those who approve of Rebecca Black. The infamous Friday song consists of Black telling the world it's Friday (even when it's clearly not Friday). She also us the days of the week, as if we don't already know it. We know Thursday is before Friday, Friday is Friday, Saturday is after Friday, and Sunday is after Saturday. But that bitch thinks we're too dumb to know. She also has to decide where to sit in a car, the front seat or the back seat. Which is the dumbest shit ever because someone is already is in the front seat, which means you're suppose to sit in the BACK SEAT, BITCH. The music video consists of 12 year old kids in front of a green screen pretending to drive a convertible and two girls on the side dancing awkwardly, becoming a giant sensation on Tumblr. Also, a random black guy, who is obviously older than 12, rapping and perhaps even attending the same party as the kids. Creepy much? The song is plague. It hurts your ears, makes you want to cry, and drops your IQ 100 points but somehow it sticks to your head, spreads like a cancer and can causes you to even sing it sometimes.

Guy: Forget Beiber Fever, I got the Black Plague!

Rebecca Black: Kickin’ in the front seat
Sittin’ in the back seat
Gotta make my mind up
Which seat can I take?

Rebecca Black: Yesterday was Thursday, Thursday
Today i-is Friday, Friday (Partyin’)
We-we-we so excited
We so excited
We gonna have a ball today
Tomorrow is Saturday
And Sunday comes afterwards
I don’t want this weekend to end

Black Metal

A sub-genre of Metal. And derived from Speed and Thrash Metal. The term 'Black Metal' was coined by the Speed Metal band, Venom.

It is inspired by bands such as Venom and Mercyful Fate. And the first Black Metal band is debated to be either Bathory or Celtic Frost. Although these were unrefined and were not the original true Black Metal bands. The first real Black Metal was started in Norway by bands such as Mayhem, Emperor, Darkthrone, and Satyricon. Later many other sub-genres of Black Metal were created.

Black Metal is usually definied by Vocals that are high in tone and pitch and are usually refered to as the 'Black Metal Screech', very different from the Guttural sound of the 'Death Metal Growl'. Lyrics mostly have Anti-Christian, Misantropic, Satanic, Luciferian, and Pagan basis. Drum beats described as 'blast beats'. But are different from Death Metal blast beats because there is more focus on the Snare drum instead of the Toms. The guitars are usually very repeatative and the riffs are usually only four to five chords. The basslines are similar to the guitar riffs but usually have a more punk quality to them. And the quality of the recordings is usually very bad.

Black Metal was started in defiance of the Death Metal scene, instead of having great, clean production, Black Metal had low and piercing quality. Instead of having complicated riffs and beats, BM had a more simplistic approach. And BM strived to be more controversial in lyrical themes.

There are several sub-genres to the Black Metal genre. And are as follows:

Black Metal: The originators usually coming from Norway.

Melodic Black Metal: Black Metal with the use of keyboards, synths, and more Melodic guitar riffs. Also Clean vocals have become a big part of the genre. Lyrics are usually more Anti-Christian, and Misantrophy based.

National Socialist Black Metal: The difference is only in lyrical themes, which usually deal with NS ideals, racism, paganism, pride of heritage or nation, and hate.

Viking Black Metal: Deals with viking, barbarian, and Norsk tales and religion. Also, Nature is a very reoccuring lyrical theme.

Folk: The Melodic version of the Viking sub-genre, usually using Keyboards or Organs. The lyrical themes usually have basis around folklore and fairy tales.

Symphonic: BM that has symphony elements added to it. Theme albums usually play a big part in this genre.

Avant-Garde: With a focus on instrumentals and the use of various other instruments, mainly keyboards, this genre defines bands that go in an experimental and artistic direction.

Black Death: A sub-genre of Black Metal that has various Death Metal influences and stylings to it. Usually of which is a combination of Death Metal music and specifically drumming, while maintaining Black Metal vocals and lyrical themes.

Black Metal: Mayhem, Darkthrone, and Immortal

Melodic Black Metal: Old Man's Child, Dimmu Borgir, and Naglfar

NSBM: Waffen SS, Sunwheel, and Drudkh

Viking: Enslaved, Graveland, and (New)Bathory

Folk: Finntroll, Vintersorg, and Borknagar

Symphonic: (New)Emperor, (New)Dimmu Borgir, Nokturnal Mortem

Avant-Garde: Celtic Frost, Burzum

Black Death: Behemoth, Zyklon, and Belphegor

Black Label

Designers make different types of collections & somethings when it is really exclusive they refer to them as their black label brand. It's usually an obscene amount of money more than usually, as in an Oscar De La Renta dress for 3,900 dollars & a black label dress would be 12,300. The difference is noticable & those that know about it, are the ones that can afford it.

"Darling, look, it's Jimmy Choo's black label, there's only three pairs left?"

"Marc Jacobs makes all sorts of cheap clothing & accessories, but to find his black label you need the third floor in Saxs in NYC."

black gothic

Is a black person (african american) who embraces the darker side of life. No they aren't a devil worshipper or satanist they just know that there can not be light without dark. Because you have to have darkness to first of all have a place where light can be. There isn't that many out there but are a real rarity if you see them. Most are understanding people, not all are suicidal, or cutters, or depressed but just (aware). Yes, they tend to where black or more natural earth colors, yes they listen to rock/punk/goth music. And most (F**k that) all gothic people will tell you that just because a person wears black DOES NOT MEAN THAT THEY ARE GOTHIC. OR JUST BECAUSE "YOU" WEAR ALL BLACK DOES NOT MAKE YOU GOTHIC. It's more to it than that. Black goths tend to always be by themselves because they don't have many friends, and really don't go out looking for them.Black goths listen to the same music as your more traditional goths do. They really don't need friends bacause they know that most bonds in life will be broken sooner or later. So they'd rather not get involved right from the get go. WHen you go to a (goth show) or a something of that nature, and you see that one or maybe a coulpe of black dudes that don't look out of place they just kind of stand out a little more... (there you have it) they are black gothic. They're not afraid to be themselves and they know who they are inside and out. They are individuals and are comfortable with it. But a black person that is gothic isn't trying to be gothic but thats what they are labeled just like a white person is. No, they are not trying to fit in, no.. they are not posuers. Don't get me wrong there are posuers in every culture, genre, and way of life. But it just so happens that the group that they identify with the most just so happens to be a mostly white crowd. Just like (white) goth people can be some of the most, intellegent, artistic, opinionated, kind and all around cool people. So can black goth people. Thats like when you see a white kid with his hat to the back and baggy jeans and air force ones or timberland boots and talk with a certain slang. No, they are not posuers of the hip hop culture, no.. they do not want to be black.. no, they do not want to be a rapper. It's just that that's the culture or group that they identify with the most. When you bring up great rappers.... of course you will hear names like Tupac, Biggie, Big L, Big Pun, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, and eventually maybe sooner maybe later you WILL hear Eminem's name. He is not trying to be black is just that he is good, "DAMN" good at what he does and just so happens it's a thing where theres more black people in than white. So if you see a black goth just know that times are changing, and things are getting more diverse... that's a good thing. On this note if don't matter if you black, white, yellow, red, blue or from the moon. If you're gothic you're gothic but be who YOU ARE. And if that's who you are then it really dosen't matter who thinks what about who.... right..? All goths need to come together and show people that this gothic thing is not a trend its not going anywhere.

Person 1: Eh.. look... look... over there, that black dude looks like us. Just like us... that kicks ass. He could almost pass for being gothic.

Person 2: Whoa...!! he could..couldn't he.? Wait a mintue,...could that even be such a thing. A black gothic person.?

Person 1: I guess so.. where looking at him right now.

Person 2: Hell yeah... let's go over and introduce ourselves. He seems to be a cool person..
