Classical music

One of the greatest yet underrated forms of music. Listening to classical music requires patience and an open mind. Those who bash it simply are not able to comprehend the expressive beauty and intricate complexity behind it. It utilizes almost all kinds of musical instruments. The different forms of classical music are symphony, piano sonata, piano concerto, violin sonata, violin concerto, piano quartet, string quartet, string quintet, etc. No other genre has been so effective in utilizing these different arrangements of instruments. The main periods are Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionism, Modern, Contemporary. My personal favorite is the Romantic period with legendary composers such as Ludwig van Beethoven, Frederic Chopin, Peter Tchaikovsky, Antonin Dvorak, Franz Liszt, Mussorgsky, and Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Unlike pop songs, no single piece of classical music sounds exactly the same. Rather, each piece is unique in the type of instruments used, the mood that is set, and the way beautiful melodies are brought out or expressed. Each piece is a musical journey that the listeners takes which is full of twists and surprises.

stoner music

Stoner music that is fun to listen to under the influence of marijuana. Stoner music covers everything, not just stoner rock. Because of the subculture-association with cannibus, hip-hop, metal, reggae, and a few other notable genres can fall under the unbrella. Some essential stoner albums over the years include:

Pink Floyd-Dark Side of the Moon
Tool-Aenima
Alice in Chains-Dirt
Jimi Hendrix-Are You Experienced?
Bob Marley-Legend
The Beatles-The White Album
Nine Inch Nails-The Downward Spiral
Frank Zappa-Apostrophe(')
The Grateful Dead-Fallout from the Phil Zone

Jenni thought that Queens of the Stone Age sucked, but she was just sobered up and needed some stoner music. After a few bowls, she was at the record pickin' all their shit up!

classical music

music that came from truly talented people, not just rappers that say a bunch of words really fast about sex and drugs and how cool they are. i like certain rappers that actually have good songs, so im not biased. the only reason people dont appreciate classical music is because they're such simpletons that they cant bear to listen to the inspirational music of geniuses cuz theyre just too dumb and unappreciative and they dont understand what music is. and to those who say classical music has no emotion, take into account that beats and tempo vary depending on the mood. so does the pitch of the notes. so does the key. different keys have different moods. like some are light and airy while others are deep and royal. oh, and the fact that the composers and musicians could express their emotions without words is incredible too. if you took away the words of 50 cent's songs, you would have no emotion whatsoever. and if u added in the words, the only emotion that is expressed is horniness, drugginess, coolness, and violence. so dont tell me that classical music is shit cz so is any1 who cant appreciate it.

cool dude: classical music was the first and truest music, which will always be loved by someone, as opposed to rap which will only last for a few decades cuz MOSt, not all, is suckish.

fuk'd dude: loser.

cool dude: o, so sorry. i gess u think genius multimillionares like myself are losers. love 2 chat, but theres my limo.

hollister music

the type music played in the store hollister. its mostly alternative bands (or emo-ish) that are slightly obscure but you've probably heard the name before. the goal is probably to convince the shoppers that they listen to bands that nobody knows, because thats cool, and it really works! hollister music is actually pretty good!

AKA california music

friend: oh my god, they played some hollister music on the top 40 station!

me: no!

experimental music

a genre of music that is very obscure and composed of various noises and sounds. Usually played by a collective of people.

This experimental music sounds like someone locked vicious pack of wolves in a modern art museum with bells and glass jars.
