Rent-A-Kid

Rent-a-kids are usually the result
of the friendship between a non-rental
bringing around a friend and the friend
never leaves because their home
life sucks (in their eyes); and you feed them. They are alot like ferrel cats. If you give them the attention they crave and feed them enough, they stake claim of your couch/spare room/any flat surface with in your home deemed comfortable enough for sleep. Of course, like ferrel cats, they can be very vocal about their new family and consequently attract more rentals. When this happens, you're homestead
gets cute little nicknames from your
people, such as "Angie's Home for
Wayward Boys"

Picking up dinner on the way home, how many rent-a-kids are at the house?

Ok kiddo, here's the rules. You sleep here for more than 3 consecutive nights, your status defaults to "rent-a-kid" and are automatically thrown into the chore rotation. Tonight you got kitchen duty.

sketch kid

Kids, generally teenagers or young adults ages 14-24, who go to raves every weekend and rely on apple stores to use WiFi. Instead of getting a job or going to school, they walk around downtown areas for hours everyday looking for other sketch kids, as they usually do not have minutes, if they even have a phone. Sketch girls do not own even a single tube of lipstick because they go into Sephora to do their makeup for free. Although sketch kids are generally always broke, they seem to always have money for drugs and alcohol. Also although they have homes they sleep on the second floor of McDonalds.

1.
Guy 1: Those are total sketch kids
Guy 2: Who? The kids wearing kandi and taking selfies on the computers in Apple?
Guy 1: Oh them too, I meant the ones sleeping in McDonalds.

merch kids

Kids that only wear merch from some alternative concert they went to over the previous weekend. Most of the time they are just fangirls or fanboys. They think that their taste in music is better than everyone's else or they want to seem "unique" by wearing merch. Not always scene kids, most of the time they're just douches that think they are cool.

However, sometimes they are actually very nice people that accept all forms of music and wear merch to say "I like this band, if you don't that's cool with me."

I walked into some merch kid at the mall the other day, she was wearing a "Sing It Loud" shirt and a bracelet that said "The Maine". She saw that I was wearing a Iron Maiden shirt and I expected to be attacked with criticism but instead she actually complemented my taste in music and kept walking. Maybe some merch kids really aren't that bad.
