Ideology: the neo-hippie is concerned with efficiency, trendiness, and (most often, just the appearance of) being socially and politically aware
Criticisms: Neo-hippies are criticized for believing that they are original or somehow non-conformists
Savana: I'm a non-conformist! *wearing scarves from recent trip to thailand, riding vintage bicycle with custom parts, organic lunch in mec backpack*

The true definition of this word is when a user take both LSD and Mushrooms (Psilocybe cubensis) at the same time. Creating a psychological trip beyond anything you have experienced.
This kid said, "hey lets hippie flip with E" I responded, "You are dumb you need LSD and Mushrooms to hippie flip fool".

Someone who listens to Bob Marley on their ipod, does not shower till they have to, wears shorts and flip flops and is infatuated with girls with smelly/dirty feet.

Person: I wanted to look like those neo hippies so I bought all of this 60's "vintage" clothes from urban outfitters.

Someone that lives a similar lifestyle to "hippies" of the past. While they may not be earth freaks. They know whats up when it comes to music. They have a deep passion for trues music. With that comes the interst for new and umpcoming bands. Plastic Hippies live a very laid-back lifestyle which includes hanging with friends, doing stupid things, sleeping, going to concerts, and yes smoking the good old reefur. Plastic Hippies may sometimes dress like the steriotypical hippie but they may also wear more modern casual clothes.

"Nah man those are Plastic Hippies they arnt all obsessed with recycling....they are much cooler"
