Getting Beefy

A situation where it looks as though two or more people are going to have 'beef' (an argument, not the food) then one may say it is 'getting beefy'

Ooh it looks like things are getting beefy, be ready to step in!

Get on with your own knitting

An east Anglian English alternative for 'mind your own business'. Especially used by the older generation - and knitters.

Kevin: "Mate, you are making that pasta all wrong, you add pasta to sauce not sauce to pasta".
Derik: "Kevin, why don't get on with your own knitting unless you want to make dinner".

Let's get schiested!

The act of becoming drunk, plastered, hammered, etc...

"Let's get shit-faced!"

"Hey guys who wants to get schiested?"

"Let's get schiested!"

Get blitzed

Almost the same as get lit but referencing being drunk. (Let’s get lit) (let’s get blitzed) blitzed is being really drunk while having a great time. (Not to the extent of blacking out) But a really good drunk.

“Bro my dads at the strip club getting blitzed this is to funny”
“Let’s go get blitzed and shoot on some baddies”

That's how hands get thrown

Slang for starting a fight with a controversial opinion or provocative actions

They better change the price of the hot dog at Costco, that's how hands get thrown.

Get in line on Wednesday

Telling someone to "get in line on Wednesday" is a sarcastic reference to a figurative time and place to go when you are telling them to fuck off.
( i.e. kiss my ass, get the fuck outta here)

Dude, you are such a dick! Why don't you "get in line on Wednesday" with all your asshole friends so I don't have waste time repeating myself when I tell you all to fuck off?? It will just be faster that way!!!
Bitch, "Get in line on Wednesday" and fuck off with everyone else!
