Someone obsessed with female-fronted rock bands, usually male.
Often abbreviated to "GBG," a girl-band geek is someone who prefers bands led by women over bands led by men, often to the point of critically accepting or rejecting bands solely based on the gender of their members, rather than on their talents or productions.
Terry's such a GBG that the only time he listened to Black Flag is when Kira Rosselaer played with them...

A geek is someone who is always heavily into things like rpg, classic sci fi, and loves to argue about it with others or chime in any time they hear someone mention a geek Passion of theirs,whether appropriate to do so or not.
A dork tends to be a person who doesn't really look the part "aka wearing shirts like I'm not a geek, I'm a level 80 warrior" but they often have a love for gaming, in particular video games and team challenge with personal betterment online games. They may dabble in card and board games, again maintaining the temporary nature of an interaction (aka not lengthy involved games such as dnd) They don't usually run around talking to everyone about what they like but will engage if the other says something first.
Now either one can have a little of the other in them or even a little nerd. A nerd is just someone who knows an intense amount on a specific subject, tending to be but NOT limited to electronics and or computer hardware or software

Geek:
A geek is someone who is unusually enthusiastic about a specific topic, sometimes an unusual topic, such as computing, science, maths or painting tiny models from Lord of the Rings.
Boffin:
A term used almost exclusively in the UK to affectionately refer to an expert or egghead. This term originated from the 'back room boys' in the second world war who were, amongst other things, operating radar and trying to break the german enigma code.
Nerd:
Someone who has difficulty negotiating social situations. The term has strong negative connotations and is mostly used as an insult. Nerd is often used interchangably with geek and it is true that many people are both but they mean different things.

A Dork, Nerd, Douchebag, Fucktard! Spends all their time talking worthless band smack. Moves in odd clicks only with other band geeks. A hater of sports or anyone with atletic ability. The douchebag that always got their books and that lame ass instrument case slapped out of their hands in school. Non-Pussy getter unless a trick within the nerd click is handin it out. Thinks anyone NOT in the band is a loser. Can't dress for shit. Always look out for floods, white high-top Reebok shoes from the 1980's, shitty hair style, taped glasses frame, possibly a pocket protector with an exploded pen stain on the pocket. Things killer bands like Metallica, Slayer, Ozzy, Staind and Alice in Chains are lame. A band geek can always play the Barney song on their instrument. Blogs with other band geeks about sheet music and band camp experiences. Has only seen pussy when his mom gets out of the shower. Thinks condoms are flute covers. Need I say more?
