A text received from someone in the same "room", or location as the other. This includes at meetings, a sporting event, on a train, at a bar, etc.
I was reprimanded by my boss today for sending a room text to a co-worker during a staff meeting.
The act of recording one's fart on a smart phone via the record audio icon in the text field, then texting it to an individual or a group for playback.

When a woman or man text their significant other with a controversial conversation topic designed to create (or to "trigger") a conversation and / or argument at a time when the other has put the argument on the back burner for the time being. For example, a few hours after a couple end an argument, the man tells his girlfriend that he will be watching the game for the next two hours (thinking the argument is over for now). She goes up to bed, then sends a text about a half hour in to rekindle the unresolved argument from earlier.
I felt like the whole thing was behind us, and she goes and sends me a trigger text when I'm trying to relax and watch a movie.
When someone is so deep in conversation via text messaging they are in a trance. Usually happens when figuring out plans with friends or texting about last night drunken escapades.
Guy 1: "I was out to lunch with my girlfriend today and she totally went into a texting trance, I had to shout her name for her to look up from her phone"
Guy 2: "who do you think she was talking to?"
Guy 1: "I don't know man, but she was giggling enough and and muttering about jello shots. She probably was retelling our crazy night last night *winks*
Guy 2: "who takes jello shots outside of college?"
A person that breaks up texts causing multiple text bubbles instead of one.
Jessica: Tell me a story
Justin: once upon a time,
Justin: there was this guy
Justin: who really liked this girl
Justin: he did his best to win her over
Justin: it didn't work
Justin: so he died
Justin: ..alone.
Jessica: why didn't you just put everything in one text? You are such a text breaker!
The act of sending rapid fire text messages to the same person, or sending one message that is so long that it comes through as multiple messages
He sent me 12 text messages in less than 5 minutes. He is a texting terrorist.
Similar to intellext, these are the grammatically correct texts usually seen in movies or shows that try to appeal to a pre-teen audience.
Example: Do u want 2 hangout 2morrow @ the mall ;) ?
